THIS IS ME

Look inside of ourselves at what makes us whole

It’s a kind loving heart, our spirit, our soul

It’s not on the outside, the body, the face

It’s there on the inside, the beauty, the grace

If we let go of our ego we can set ourself free

Accept who we are and shout, this is me

Forgiveness and truth, faith, hope and love

Is all that is needed to ascend high above

Make time for each other, let your light inside out

Show to the world what this life is about

It’s there for the living, it’s yours and it’s mine

Dance in the moonlight and let yourself shine

So live life to the full till we return once more

To our loved ones and angels who wait at the door.

I LIVE ETERNALLY

Please don’t think of me as gone

For I am with you still

And though my body had to leave

My spirit never will

So even when you’re feeling weak

Don’t ever feel alone

For I’m right there beside you

You are never on your own

Remember all that we have shared

The good times and the laughter

Enjoy your life and carry on

Don’t think about what’s after

Just know that I am happy here

My soul and spirit free

Where love is all around me

And I live eternally

I AM NOT GONE

An empty house, an empty chair

Does not mean I am not there

I’m in the memories that you keep

So think of me but do not weep

Just know that I am there with you

To give you strength in all you do

I’ll be beside you every day

Look for the signs I send your way

The words of a song, a butterfly

Our spirit lives, we do not die

For I am the love within your heart

I’m everywhere, we did not part

So take my hand and walk with me

Shine your light for all to see

Live your life and carry on

And talk to me, I am not gone.

LOVE

Love is gentle,

honest and pure

If we are feeling downhearted,

love is the cure

If it’s there in our actions

In all that we do

If we give of ourselves

Our light will shine through

A smile, a thought

Or an unheard prayer

Are all simple ways

To show that we care

Friendships are built

New stories unfold

Love creates memories

For our hearts to behold

We were born from love

And to love we return

So let it be the lesson

That our children all learn

Show them the way

Let us give to each other

Compassion and truth

Let us love one another

Let there be kindness

In all that we say

Let it be who we are

Let our hearts lead the way.
